O'Brien Real Estate office named one of Australia’s best!
O’Brien Real Estate placed 6th in the 2013 Real Estate Business Top 50 Sales Offices benchmark report which ranks real estate sales offices across Australia according to a range of 2011/12 financial year business metrics including sales volumes, sales dollars and listing numbers.
According to the report, O’Brien Real Estate sold 335 properties in the 2011/12 financial year, totaling more than $120 million.
The results are testimony to the hard work and leadership shown by principals, many of which operate in incredibly tough and competitive markets, according to Simon Parker, editor of Real Estate Business.
The Real Estate Business Top 50 Sales Offices ranking gives us an insight into what some of the top performing offices do to stay ahead of their competition.
This report highlights some of the most effective and productive sales offices in Australia, and incorporates an array of businesses from various parts of the country including regional areas.
The goal of our unique ranking was to look beyond just sales figures and provide a clearer insight into how these successful businesses operate.
Data collected for the Top 50 Sales Offices ranking included sales numbers, sales volumes, staff numbers and listing numbers, among other information, with research partner RP Data independently verifying the sales data provided by every office.
In isolated instances, where RP Data did not have sufficient data to verify an office’s submission, figures were verified by a senior member of the agency or network.
Almost half of the Top 50 Sales Offices were based in New South Wales (23), followed by 12 in Victoria, seven in Western Australia, six in Queensland, and one each on South Australia and the Northern Territory.
The staff at O’Brien Real Estate had the pleasure of being invited to AREC (Australasian Real Estate Conference) in Sydney at The Sydney Convention Centre in May 2011. Joined by 2500 top agents from Australia and New Zealand, the line up of guest speakers was phenomenal. Headline guest speakers included Mayor Rudy Giuliani from New York, Alan Jones, Lillian Montalto & Bob Bohlen ( Number 1 American Estate Agents) and John McGrath amongst various others.
Dean O’Brien also had the pleasure of personally meeting Mayor Rudy Giuliani. The team from O’Brien Real Estate came back to work after the 2 day conference invigorated with having a new zest and passion for Real Estate. The wealth of knowledge gained at the conference was enormous and can only benefit our current and future clients.
