Licensed Estate Agent
Since starting out in the real estate industry over thirty years ago, Heather Steadman has seen many changes, many challenges and many, many successes. Specialising in the local area over the last 15 years, Heather has become one of the area’s most respected agents; winning the trust of her vendors and their buyers alike. Heather’s empathetic approach and ability to build rapport across generations, genders and cultural divides has seen her career grow on a firm foundation of recommendations and repeat business. Now she is proud to be amongst the founding members of the OBrien Leadership Team.
Cool, calm and collected, Heather has built her career on more than just stellar results. Hundreds of written and word-of-mouth recommendations are testament to Heather’s ability to provide a stress-free selling experience alongside a superlative sales price. No matter how busy she is, from listing, through every open-for-inspection, to the final negotiation, Heather stands beside her vendors, understanding their needs, guiding their actions, removing anxiety and instilling rare confidence.
A true local expert, Heather’s understanding of the market, its homes and their values is exceptional. When Heather appraises a home, the appraisal value is always a real and precise reflection of the current market and that home’s place within it. This commitment to truth and accuracy means her vendors can sell with a high degree of certainty – planning around an assured prospect of sale and a realistic price expectation.
In fact, Heather’s auction success rate is virtually unparalleled in the area. It’s a record of which Heather is proud – not the least because of her standing in the local community. A mother of three and former McKinnon College School Councillor, Heather understands the value of a good school …and of the rewards and responsibilities that come with being part of that school, and wider, community. Indeed, the responsibility that Heather takes most seriously, is that of ensuring the absolute best outcome for her community of clients.
