OBrien network expands regional Victoria footprint

Obrien Real Estate has announced the launch of a new office in East Gippsland as the network looks to further strengthen its regional foothold in Regional Victoria.

The network unveiled that Sean Sabell and Laura Waites (along with their team) will rebrand and transition to operate as Obrien Real Estate Bairnsdale.

Previously operating under the Elders brand, Mr Sabell and Ms Waites bring with them 70 years of cumulative experience in the real estate industry and an “impressive reputation rounded on putting their community first”, according to Obrien.

The network highlighted that the duo boasts a remarkable sale transaction record and rent roll in the region, with their team collectively selling and managing thousands of properties across East Gippsland.

According to Mr Sabell and Ms Waites, their drive to find new ways to improve their offerings was what triggered the decision to switch to the Obrien brand, and they have shared how they are big proponents of finding ways to be more innovative and continually evolve in order to bolster the real estate sector in the region in the long run.

The duo is also in consensus that their rebranding under the Obrien network is the next step that will “unshackle their full potential”.

“We’ve grown a strong reputation because of how we operate and do business, we’re very excited for the opportunities that await us as a result of joining the OBrien network,” Ms Waites said.

“It’ll challenge us, push us to be better, support our staff better, and ultimately make our business and community engagement stronger.”

OBrien’s new office in Gippsland follows on from the successful launch of five offices in regional Victoria in the past 18 months, including the January launch of its new Wodonga office.

According to regional director Peter Clark, Mr Sabell and Ms Waites’ decision to operate under the network is a “glowing endorsement” and a testament to the network’s ability to build a unique offering.

“We are very proud to partner with such an exciting, youthful yet experienced team in Bairnsdale. As our OBrien regional footprint grows, attracting such established businesses that share our core values and outlook for growth is simply exciting,” he said.

Acknowledging the Bairnsdale team’s strong performance up to now, Mr Clark stated: “[We] are delighted to be a part of this next chapter in their business and assist them in realising their full potential and fulfilling their vision.”
