It’s official. Courtney Kain and Sevilay “Sev” Keser are the winners of The Block 2026, delivering an extraordinary auction result in Mount Eliza with their spectacular House 4 selling for $4.72 million.

The winning property at 9 Mackillop Place, Mount Eliza sold for an incredible $1.27 million above its $3.45 million reserve, securing Courtney and Sev the title of The Block 2026 winners.

For OBrien Real Estate, the result is particularly special. Courtney and Sev's House 4 was proudly represented by the OBrien Real Estate team, led by Stavros Ambatzidis, with Kayn Luff and auctioneer Paul Tzamalis playing key roles in a campaign that generated exceptional buyer interest.

Courtney and Sev's House 4 went under the hammer with a $3.45 million reserve before eventually selling for $4.72 million, producing a remarkable $1.27 million auction profit.

The home attracted 17 registered bidders, reported as the highest number for a single property in the show's history.

That depth of buyer competition proved decisive when auction day arrived.

The winning result was part of a highly successful finale for The Block in Mount Eliza, with all five properties selling above reserve.

For Courtney and Sev, however, House 4 was the standout.

In addition to their $1.27 million profit, the pair collected the $100,000 winner's prize and a prize pool valued at $500,000, taking their total cash and prizes to a reported $1.87 million.

Behind a great auction result is months of preparation, buyer engagement, market strategy and hard work.

OBrien Real Estate's involvement with Courtney and Sev's House 4 commenced well before the auctioneer called for the final bid.

Courtney herself highlighted the importance of that preparation, saying she and Sev had spent months in Mount Eliza, meeting the community, attending open homes and working alongside OBrien Real Estate to build a substantial pool of buyers. Their aim wasn't to find just one or two potential purchasers, but to create genuine competition. Courtney and Sev reveal the advice that helped them win The Block.

That approach ultimately helped deliver 17 registered bidders and a fiercely competitive auction.

It is a powerful demonstration of what a well-executed property campaign can achieve when great presentation, strong buyer relationships, strategic marketing and auction expertise come together.

From the first week of The Block to the final fall of the hammer, Courtney and Sev backed their vision.

The result speaks for itself:
