Imagine A Bush Retreat with Soul. Can You Picture It?

Tucked amongst the majestic hills of W Tree, this charming weatherboard cottage sits on approximately five acres, offering a rare opportunity to restore and reimagine a much-loved bush property. With two bedrooms, two living areas and an open-plan layout, the home has generous bones and the kind of character and warmth that newer builds simply can't replicate. Timber details, a wood heater and the quiet hum of the surroundings give it a deeply peaceful, grounded atmosphere that you feel the moment you arrive.

The infrastructure for a self-sufficient lifestyle is already in place and simply needs a capable hand to bring it all together. Solar panels, a wood fire cooker, gas cooking and a second wood heater are all on site, offering everything required for comfortable off-grid living. The opportunity here isn't just to renovate a home; it's to craft an entirely intentional way of life, independent from the grid and deeply connected to the land.

Step out onto the north-facing balcony or deck and let the landscape do the talking with sweeping views stretching out in every direction. Whether you're lingering over a morning coffee or taking in a sky full of stars unmarred by city glow, this outdoor space quietly becomes a main feature of the home.

Privacy and community don't often coexist, but here they do. As part of the Sunrise Farm Owners Corporation, the property enjoys, the shared Food Co-op, freezer facilities and a workshop with tractor and mains power access (fees apply for some services). It's the best of both worlds, your own secluded sanctuary with the quiet support of a like-minded community around you.
