Director & Licensed Estate Agent
Rod has personally witnessed the transition and growth of Casey and Cardinia from rural communities to thriving suburban municipalities having lived and worked in the region for the last 30 years with his wife and adult children.
Outside of the office, Rod’s either behind the wheel of his go-kart competing somewhere around Victoria, travelling the globe with this wife or throwing his support and that of his business and the Obrien Real Estate Foundation behind local community organisations.
Rod’s diverse professional background demonstrates his ability and flexibility. From banking to the police force, real estate, solar panel retailing and installation and back to real estate, it’s his success as a real estate agent that has been most widely recognised, winning numerous awards over the years.
Rod’s highly competitive nature is what underpins his reputation in the region as the agent who consistently delivers results for all his clients. With 18 years local experience as a real estate agent his success is based on an honest, respectful and empathetic approach underpinned by his promise of achieving maximum outcomes for clients. His energetic and vibrant style together with a natural problem-solving ability sets Rod apart.
Appraisal? Sure thing, let’s get started below:
I found Rod and his team pleasant to deal with and always warm and professional.
Rain hail or shine the auctions must go on and it seems we had three this week end. There were 334 auctions scheduled this week in Victoria and with the results collected thus far there has been a 74% clearance rate recorded. OBrien Real Estate success rate matched the state at the same 74%.A stand out sale in our group was within the city of Knox 7 Jukes Road Boronia which during the 24 days on market saw 195 people inspect the home, over 150 people at the auction and 6 bidders bid past the reserve price to an eventual selling price of $770,000.
