I’ve been in real estate for 37 years, and I can honestly say it’s not just a career for me — it’s my passion and what I know best.

Over that time, I’ve owned and operated successful real estate businesses across Melbourne’s West, and most recently, I spent 14 years running our own business in the Casey area alongside my wife, Maureen Bartolo. That experience has given me a deep, practical understanding of the industry from every angle — sales, strategy, negotiation, and business operations.

I pride myself on knowing how to read every situation and make the right call. Real estate is rarely straightforward, and experience has taught me how to adapt quickly, solve problems, and keep deals moving forward. I’m very strong on numbers, which is a key advantage when it comes to pricing, negotiations, and achieving the best possible result for my clients.

I am also a proficient auctioneer, which allows me to confidently guide campaigns to auction day and create strong competitive outcomes when it matters most.

I’m extremely hardworking, focused, and very efficient in the way I operate. I don’t believe in overcomplicating things — I believe in clear strategy, solid communication, and getting the job done properly.

Today, Maureen and I continue to work together at O’Brien Real Estate. We complement each other perfectly and operate as a strong, experienced team. A large portion of our business comes from repeat clients and referrals, which I think speaks for itself — people come back because they trust the way we work and the results we deliver.

At the end of the day, I’m someone who knows this industry inside and out, and I use that experience to guide people confidently through every step of the process.

When I’m not working, I enjoy watching sport, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my family.
