OBRE Clark donated to Baw Baw Combined Churches Food Relief Inc in November 2023
In November the team at OBrien Real Estate Clark proudly donated $2,500 to the Baw Baw Food Relief program.
The Warragul and Drouin based agency donates to a local organisation every month as part of their ‘Creating Opportunities’ program which is designed to provide support and exposure to organisations that are helping those who need it most in the local community.
About Baw Baw Food Relief:
Baw Baw Food Relief assists people at their point of crisis or if they are experiencing difficulty by providing them with emergency/short-term food relief for themselves and their families.
Baw Baw Combined Churches Food Relief Inc began in 2002 and has grown with 12 different churches now involved. They provide funding assistance, volunteering day to day management and strategic direction via the Food Relief Committee. They also have a range of supporters and volunteers from other backgrounds providing great support. They are the largest supplier of emergency food relief in Baw Baw Shire, assisting over 950 families last year.
Their mission is to provide food, friendship and practical support to those in need as well as making a better future for families in the local community.
Christmas Food Drive:
Food Relief welcomes your contributions of Christmas food and treats to sprinkle a bit of joy into the lives of those who need it most. Food donations can be dropped in the Purple Donation Bins at Coles & Woolworths in Drouin and Warragul. Saturday 25th November Baw Baw Food Relief are having a special day for children to come along and tell Santa what they want for Christmas. From 11am-2pm at 11 Pearse Street, Warragul they invite you to be a part of the Christmas Food Donation Day by bringing along Christmas food and treats to donate.
