Andrew Martin Joins OBrien Real Estate as Strategic Growth Adviser and Head of Auctions
OBrien Real Estate is delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Martin as the Strategic Growth Adviser and Head of Auctions, effective 13th January 2025. Andrew’s extensive experience in real estate, media, and leadership positions him as a key driver in advancing the organisation’s growth and innovation goals.
About Andrew Martin
Andrew Martin’s illustrious career bridges diverse industries, including media, real estate, and franchise development. Beginning in the media industry, Andrew held senior management roles at Fairfax and News Corp, where he honed his expertise in marketing, communication, and leadership. His transition into real estate saw him founding and operating his own auction business, specialising in residential properties across Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria. This hands-on experience provided him with invaluable insights into auction dynamics and client-centric service.
Building on his success, Andrew took on leadership roles that showcased his ability to foster growth and inspire high-performing teams. As Senior Growth Manager for on of Australia’s leading real estate franchise network, Andrew spearheaded initiatives to expand the brand’s footprint and influence. Most recently, he served as Sales Manager for Victoria’s top-performing office, leading a team of over 30 agents to achieve record-breaking results.
Andrew is a fully licensed estate agent and an active member of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV), underscoring his commitment to professionalism and industry excellence.
Andrew’s Role at OBrien Real Estate
In his new role, Andrew will focus on driving strategic growth initiatives, supporting franchisees, and enhancing auction services across OBrien’s extensive network. His leadership will play a pivotal role in aligning the organisation’s growth strategies with its values of Family, Mutuality, and Realising Potential.
